I totally agree that trueskill was a good matchmaking system but i dont really have that much of an issue with any matchmaking system just as long a it dosnt limit who i can play with.
Then surely the best option is to have both in order to keep everyone happy ?
Party up systems are fine but when they put a limit on the number of friends you can play with then where is the benefit? Its not like casual players only have 4 friends.
Totally agree. I got into gaming playiing Counterstrike a looooong time ago and the system of just picking a game works fine.

Im not sure if thats such a good thing. I know some people love all the stats and shit you get in sports games these days but i find it a bit of a chore. Same with UFC 2010, i dont really care about which bit of training i do in the weeks leading up to a fight to tweak stats, i just want to play.
Maybe im just a bit old school and preferred the simpler sports games of yesteryear.

The Blizzard ID thing was nuts.
I used to play a lot of EVE online and part of the fun was the total immersion into the game which carried over into the forums. When you had a discussion you were discussing stuff in character and pictured the conversation as though it was with that character - in reality it was probably some lanky dork like me with a funny accent but that was a all part of the game.
Everyone on my friends list who has played this beta says that it sucks ass big time.

There is only one genre of game that requires 2 analogue sticks and that is FPS - since there arent any FPS games on the PSP then your point is moot.
PSP games are not PS2 ports, they are games built for the PSP and its controls and therefore do not require a second analogue stick.

I think you have interpreted this wrong.
Capcom say that the Gold edition will support Move but that dosnt mean that they won't release a paid for DLC patch to add Move support to teh standard version. Not to do so would be lunacy as Capcom would likely make far more from stand alone DLC patches than they would from the number of users who would buy RE5 Gold after already owning the standard version.
not interested in this game at all. i think its probably an average game that they are sticking kojimas name on in order to make it something bigger than it really is.
Im gonna get Move just because its simply a superior system for aiming in games - anyone who has played Resident Evil 4 on the Wii knows that it works amazingly well.
Not quite as good as a mouse but then again you dont need a flat surface to use this so i can get improved aiming while slouched on the couch.
Day one purchase for me with SOCOM 4.
